SECURE YOUR SPOTS IN THE EUROPEAN YOUTH EXCHANGES WITHIN THE RUHR GAMES

You can secure already beforehand a spot/ spots in the European youth exchanges of the Ruhr Games, when you fill in this form. Please fill in all the fields carefully. If you have questions concerning your registration, please don’t hesitate to contact the Team Ruhr Games.

Registrations to the European youth exchanges (including the subvention) are furthermore available until the 1st of April 2017. Team Ruhr Games can help you, in case you need assistance e.g. with accommodation.

Participation to Ruhr Games and its program is generally not limited.

What does a binding registration mean?

  • By means of the binding registration you secure your places for the European Youth Meeting. The binding registration guarantees you the 100 € per person for the European Youth Meeting within the framework of the Ruhr Games or your places in Youth Camp. The binding registration is simply made by clicking on the binding button. Your information is thus binding and must be filled in completely. You can bindingly register for the European Youth Meeting in the context of theRuhr Games

We would like to offer young people the opportunity to participate in the Ruhr Games sports program. For further information, please contact Sina Diekmann at diekmann@ruhrgames.de  from the Team Ruhr Games.

To enable young people to participate in the Ruhr Games, we need the following official documents for the participants:

Which accommodation option would you like to use?

You have the following possibilities:

  • You organize the accommodation of the youths yourself and want to benefit from the subsidy of 100€ per person. Arrival and departure dates are flexible.
  • The group should be accommodated in the Youth Camp in Hamm organized by the Sport Youth NRW. The accommodation is in the festival camping area, in own tents and it includes catering.

*Accommodation and catering are free of charge in the Youth Camp. You must bring your own tent, camping mat and a sleeping bag.

Please note that in the course of the Ruhr Games 2017 very few parking spaces are reserved at the Ruhr Games locations (Dortmund, Hagen, Hamm). If you are travelling with your vehicle during the course of the event, please note that you need a parking permit.

The parking permit must be individually assigned. Please request this document separately before 1 April 2017 from Anna Saarni at saarni@ruhrgames.de with the keyword „ Parking permit“ .

Subsidy

The handling of the subsidy and the collection of it is done by the following person:

In order to enable the young people to participate in the Ruhr Games and to pay out the subsidy, the Ruhr Regional Office needs the following documents from the
international groups: 

  • Complete addresses of the payment receivers
  • Bank details  (including Name of the institution, IBAN and BIC/SWIFT- Number)
  • Proof of the use of funds In the form of a summary edition of expenditure in chronological order (cost plan)
  • An attendance list of European young people with the following information:  Name, first name, gender, age, place of residence, address, telephone number, email address, signature of the youths.  

We would like to point out that this information is needed in good time by you and the other possible contacts and group leaders of your groups.  You will receive the documents separately from Anna Saarni from the team Ruhr Games as soon as you are registered. If you do not receive any documents, please contact Anna Saarni (saarni@ruhrgames.de). Please note that the funding can only be paid if the group is bindingly registered and all the data has been received on time.

We would like to combine the Ruhr Games with our already existing exchange program.

Please note that the pitches for accommodation in the Youth Camp are unfortunately already booked up. You can contact Fabienne Caiazza (fabienne.caiazza@lsb-nrw.de) with your questions concerning the Youth Camp.

Registration for the European Youth Meeting in self-organization including per capita subsidy for European young people and groups is still possible until 1 April 2017 . The Ruhr Games team can help you find the right accommodation if needed.

The places at the Ruhr Games themselves are not limited.
