Overall program is set, Bosse is headliner on Sunday

Over 600 cool sports, cultural and European events are on offer at the third edition of Europe's biggest sports and cultural festival for young people! The countdown for the unique event from 20 to 23 June 2019 is running!

In addition to Star Rapper Cro on the opening evening, the RUHR GAMES have another headliner on the starting line: Bosse will provide a crowning finale to the festival on Sunday evening. The sympathetic indie pop artist brings his latest gold album "Alles ist jetzt" with him and guarantees a captivating performance, perfect for an eventful RUHR GAMES weekend. The RUHR GAMES will once again be offering an all-encompassing programme this year with numerous sporting competitions, hands-on activities and workshops on top. Admission is free of charge.

EUROPA is written in capital letters: The athletes from over 32 countries represent the European hub in open competitions, international invitation and qualification tournaments and, of course, in the European Skateboarding Championship. At the newly created Europa-Expo, visitors will also be able to learn about the topics of internationality, youth education, sustainability, youth encounters and youth law.

BMX rider and RG19 participant Paul Thölen put the organizers, sponsors, partners and guests of today's press conference in the mood for the RUHR GAMES in front of the impressive backdrop of the Duisburg-Nord Landscape Park:

Nina Frense (Deputy Member of the Regionalverband Ruhr), Dr. Joachim Stamp (Minister for Children, Family, Refugees and Integration of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia; Deputy Prime Minister), Martin Wonik (Member of the Executive Board of the Landessportbund Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V. and Managing Director of Sportjugend NRW) and Dr. Ralf Krumpholz (Sportdezernent der Stadt Duisburg) were visibly impressed by the sporting abilities of the young BMXer from Viersen.
