Europe's largest youth sports festival is entering the third round! It's getting even bigger, louder, and more colorful - and it's all taking place at one location!

From the 20th-23rd of June 2019, visitors of Landschaftspark Duisburg Nord can expect a unique mix of sports competitions, shows, music acts, street art, trend sports, virtual reality, workshops, an international youth exchange and much more.

Top international athletes as well as regional stars and newcomers will participate in more than 500 sports and cultural events - and you can take part yourself!

Up to 1,000 international youths can receive a 100 Euro travel allowance to attend the Ruhr Games. International guests may register here for more info:

In 2019, the Ruhr games will further promote cultural exchange and international inclusion with the help of several thousand young people from across Europe. An exciting an emotional experience is guaranteed as local youths participate together with competitors and new friends from various nations.

International groups can either apply for the €100 or the participation at the youth camp. Both options cannot be used in combination.

Subsidy for International Youth
For the many international exchange programs, partnerships and friendships of the clubs, schools and communities of Metropole Ruhr, the Ruhr Games will again offer an all-inclusive subsidy. All institutions and persons who would like to invite international guests may contact with questions or to register by email for the 100 Euro travel allowance.

International Youth Camp
As in 2017, Sportjugend NRW will once again be organizing a youth camp for several hundred international youths as part of the Ruhr Games. The youth camp will take place at Sportpark Duisburg from 18th till 23rd of June 2019. There will be exciting workshops for topics such as: Europe, culture, digital media, tolerance, respect, social engagement and more. Further information about the youth camp can be found here:
